In April of 2018 Dr. Jennifer Walden was elected by the American Society for Aesthetic Surgery (ASAPS) to serve as the Secretary of the Society’s Executive Committee. This is a very prestigious position and Dr. Walden is the first ever female to serve in a leadership role on the committee, making it a more impressive election for her. Dr. Walden was born in Austin,TX. she received her MD from the University of Texas Medical Branch.
Dr. Walden has a private plastic surgery practice based in Austin,TX. aptly named Walden Cosmetic Surgery and Laser Center,PLLC. Dr. Walden is nationally accredited, she is formally trained in plastic surgery, and has been a member of The Aesthetic Society since 2008. Dr. Walden has been named one of Texas Super Doctors along with being named one of Castle Connely’s Top Doctors in 2016 and 2017.
Dr. Walden offers services at her practice such as tummy tucks, liposuction, laser resurfacing, radio frequency fat reduction techniques, Brazilian buttock lifts, hydrafacials, facelifts, rhinoplasty, eyelid lifts, Botox and dermal fillers, breast augmentation and also correction and improvement on previous corrective surgeries. The use of state of the art 3-D imaging allows her clients to see there appearance after augmentation procedures, she is also among the first to implement the use of diVa laser and ThermiVa radio-frequency for a non-invasive vaginal rejuvenation procedure.
Along with serving her clients at her practice, she also is a spokesperson as well as a consultant for leading medical aesthetic companies such as Cynosure, Sciton Inc., Venus Concept, and SmartGraft. Dr. Walden gives lectures about laser techniques at national conferences. She also has appeared in media and appears on television networks lifestyle programs.
Dr. Walden also is a philanthropist, she was runner up for Austin’s Woman of The Year, she was elected by Austin Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, she was involved in raising funds towards blood cancer research. Dr. Walden is also a member of the Guardian Angel Society, she contributes to the Junior League of Austin’s Food in Tummies program, she sponsors the Forest Trails Elementary School and the Eanes Education Foundation to fund teachers.
